19th Century Satinwood Desk

Circa 1830

A fine quality early 19th century satinwood Library table or desk. The rectangular top inset with a red leather top within a satinwood and kingwood banded edge, above two frieze drawers and opposing dummy drawers and standing on elegant and well-drawn end supports joined by a turned stretcher. The whole decorated with fine, inset kingwood bands and beautifully figured West Indian satinwood.
