Regency scroll end settee/sofa

A grand Regency scroll-end settee constructed in Rosewood with panels of intricately cut ivory. Adorned with acanthus leaf carving to the back and scroll ends and standing on turned and reeded legs with brass castors.
An opulent and imposing piece displaying all the grandeur of high Regency. Note the ivory inlays above and below the seat are mutually reversed. An interesting technique not often seen.
