Pair of Painted semi elliptical side cabinets by Wright & Mansfield

An exceptional pair of superior quality demi lune side cabinets firmly attributed to Wright & Mansfield of Bond Street, London. The tops with simulated inlaid fanned quadrants to the centre and wide borders of brightly painted flowers. fronts each with three oval classical scenes of maidens after Angelica Kaufmann, below lighter bands with trailing bell-flowers which are repeated down the vertical dividers to the panels, which terminate in square tapering legs with 'spade' shaped feet. The whole with a deep green background simulated to resemble shagreen.
