An exceptional and extremely beautiful George III period satinwood and mahogany side cabinet of inverted serpentine or break-front form. The two central doors lined in green silk and brass wire panels with wonderfully figured and vibrant West Indian satinwood surrounds, flaked on either side by flat fronted double satinwood pilasters which are inset with vertical ebony lines and placed either side of fluted mahogany quadrants. The shaped mahogany top with a wide satinwood banding edged within ebony lines and bordered by an outer banding of mahogany. Raised on elegant feet of inverted vase shape.
