Large French Oval Gilded Mirror

Impressive oval gilded mirror of superb quality.

The moulded frame is decorated with floral and leafy ornaments around the beautifully aged main plate with a hand-hewn bevelled edge Surrounded by four, also original, curved corner plates, all with bevelled edges.

In unusually good condition considering its fragility and age, with only the minimum amount of losses or repairs. Almost all decoration is original to the piece.

A very impressive statement piece, ideal in a large hallway a reception room or above a fireplace.
