Circa 1825
A fine quailty and stylish early 19th century two tier étagère. The shelves sdupported on elegantly turned uprights headed with pointed finals and terminating at the inverted vase shaped legs with original barss castors. Fitted with a mahogany lined drawer below the bottom shelf retainingt the original single rosewwod knob handle.
The bold turning of the inverted vase legs add great style and presence to this simple yet immensely practicle piece. It would work equally well as as a display stand for a colllection or as an end table next to a chair or sofa.
The height of the top shelf is 29 inches, or 31.5 inches to the top of the finials.
