Anglo Indian Ivory and Penwork Writing Box

A fine quality 19th century Ivory veneered writing slope profusely decorated with penwork bands and floral swags. the interior fitted with a fold down writing surface below compartments for pens and ink and other writing accoutrement and lined in sandalwood. Two small drawers are hidden underneath the top half of the writing surface along with a compartment for papers.
