A rare and complete mid 19th century papier-mâché Games Box decorated with a central pen-work scene to the top depicting a gathering of Chinese figures on a terrace of a building surrounded by lush gardens with steps and terraces and further figures. Set within a border with gilded dragons and and outer geometric gilt border, The interior complete with various lidded compartments and stacks of card trays.
