Pair of Carved Wood Capitals

A highly decorative large pair of 19th century carved hardwood Capitals from the tops of columns. Beautifully carved with naturalistic leafy foliage, nicely aged with good patina and slight natural movement splits. These capitals work extremely well, inverted as pedestals or plinths for decorative art or statuary.
