18th Century Silver Sugar Basket

A fine quality pail shaped pierced sugar basket with twisted loop handle and decorated with garlands of flowers and a cenral cartouche engraved with a coat of arms. With twisted way edge top and pierced foot and retaining the original blue glass liner. By Susannah Barker, London 1771
